Yay, Easter!

Kiera and Shane had a sleepover last night at Mike and Shelly's house (Thank you Mike and Shelly!) This allowed me and Merle some much-needed couple time before Merle left for Minnesota this morning. This morning, Kiera and Shane were not ready to be done playing so we packed up the party and took it to our house to color Easter Eggs!





Yes, that is Grandpa in the background. He was the supervisor--you can tell because he's the one holding a coffee cup. Ok, ok, it's not a coffee cup, but "drink of water" just doesn't have the same ring to it....





Shane's favorite color today was green. I'm not entirely sure that he made any color other than green eggs. Now he just needs some ham.




Kiera's favorite color today was blue, although she got a little wild and did a few pink and orange.


The finished product. Well, half of them. Shane's egg carton had most of the green ones! After all that hard work, guess what we had for lunch?? I discovered that Kiera really does like egg salad sandwiches.
