At our ward Christmas party a week or so ago, Santa made a visit. Kiera's cousins spent half an hour trying to talk her into sitting on Santa's lap. She finally did, but as you can see, she wasn't really sure that was such a good idea. As it was, I think she only really went for the free candy cane. I'm not even sure that she talked to Santa!!!

Our family had our traditional party this last weekend. It was fun to have everyone here! Kiera loved playing with her cousins, and they all thought that they highlight of the weekend was having a sleepover at Mike and Shelly's house with Shayne. (I'll give you a hint--the kids' parents also thought that was the highlight of the weekend. Ahhh, silence........) Kiera played so hard that this is what happened after everyone left. When Dad sits at the computer, Kiera likes to sit behind him on the chair and lean against his back so she can keep an eye on what he's doing. Apparently, it was quite comfy.



I wanted to let you all know that I have many exciting things to post, but I don't have pictures to share yet. Just so you know, this is what you have to look forward to:

2 new babies!! April and Bryan had Rebecca Lynn Cole on Thursday, December 18. She weighed 6 lb. 6 oz, and was several weeks early. Buakh and Joel are expecting Kylie Brinkerhoff any day now as well, so you will soon be basking in oodles of baby pictures.


A new house!! Not a new house for us, but Shelly and Mike bought a house in IF, and it's so cute! They should get the keys today, so I'll get some fun pictures soon.


Something else: I'm pretty sure there was something else I was going to write, but I can't remember right now. Oh, well!
