Every year, somewhere around Christmas time, or perhaps Valentine's Day or Easter, we get together with friends of ours and make Candy Trains. This is a picture of the George Family Candy Train, circa 2008. Notice the fine attention to detail in the Rudolph-drawn sleigh at the top of the picture, as well as the authentic railroad crossing lights located at the right and left of the train itself. If I'd been a little quicker to get a picture, you might have been able to see the cute little gummy bears both at the front of the engine and at the rear of the train on the caboose. Those yummy, chewey little passengers are currently digesting in someone's tummy. I will not be posting pictures of them after they come out.

I couldn't help but include a picture of Kiera with her mostest cutestestest teddy bears. The big one she got from Santa, and the little one she got from....another....Santa. You get the picture. She named them Sam and Illie after the bears we saw at the Yellowstone Discovery Center. She's also in her traditional Christmas Eve pj's, the same pj's that used to be her favorites (at least for a few days) until she went to Wal-Mart last night to use her gift cards from Grandma and Grandpa Powell and Grandpa Colvin and found the BESTEST JAMMAS EVER because they were spongebob jammies. Mrs. Pedersen would be appalled at the run-on sentence I just created.
I know last post I promised pictures of babies and such, but April just got out of the hospital again and I don't have any pictures of Squirt (it's just too hard to call her Rebecca yet.) and Bukah is not being cooperative and hasn't calved yet. (That last was just for Joel, who said that he could handle being with his wife during delivery because after all, it wasn't that different from cows, was it?) As for Shelly and Mike's house, we've been too busy lugging huge, heavy boxes and things around for them and I can't take pictures with my toes. So just be patient, everyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
